Baltic Event, the largest international co-production market in North-Eastern Europe taking place in collaboration with Industry@Tallinn of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, takes place for the 17th time in 2018.

Around 50 projects are presented with the Co-Production Market accepting projects from the Creative Europe MEDIA eligible territories as well as projects interested in co-producing with the region, two Works in Progress presentations showcasing both Baltic and international projects, POWR Baltic Stories Exchange training Baltic and Nordic writers to develop and pitch, and Script Pool Tallinn looking for writer-producer teams with competitive screenplays worldwide.

Baltic Event 2018 will also provide lectures on market strategies, financing methods, new technologies, and digital distribution, and host a market corner for short films from the Baltics.

The 2018 Focus Country is Italy.
